May 20, 3PM The Cumberland Music and Arts Club will sponsor its twelfth annual Young Artists’ Benefit Concert at Windsor Hall, located at 45 Baltimore Street in Downtown Cumberland. The concert will feature performances by talented area high school musicians from public, private and home-schooled settings. The event is open to the public. A free will offering will be received to benefit future Music and Arts Club Scholarship recipients. A reception to honor performers, teachers and accompanists will be held in Windsor Hall following the performance. Romney Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a grand opening of their new community computer center on May 20 from 1-3 p.m. The public is invited to attend and learn more about this free program, which provides high-speed Internet, helps train residents in basic computer skill, and adds to their existing computer abilities.
The fire department is located on 175 South High Street in Romney.
